Leicester City had a disastrous start in the league, and is ranked fifteenth in the standings.
They are in a struggle for survival, and Marty Cifuentes has come under fire.
The manager is under a lot of pressure at the moment, and there have been rumors of a possible sacking. According to football Insider, the manager could be gone soon if results do not improve quickly.
The recent wins have eased the pressure on the manager, but the Foxes put in a disappointing display against Southampton and Cifuentes is under the microscope once again. It will be interesting to see if he can get the best out of his players in the coming weeks.

Pete O’Rourke says: “Yes again, it’s obviously taken the pressure off him in recent weeks when he’s had back-to-back wins over Norwich and Stoke.
“It took the pressure off him, but again, it was another disappointing result against Southampton in midweek which left Leicester 15th in the table.
“The thing is, they may be at the bottom of the table, but the championship is very close and they are still only three points away from the play-off places.
“A couple of wins will soon put them back there, but again, a few defeats will see them drop further down the table.
“It is clear that more defeats for Cifuentes will increase the pressure on them. No one expected this, Leicester City is ranked 15th at this stage of the season.”
Sifuentes ready for the sack?

The Foxes are unlikely to be patient with him much longer. If results do not improve, they will be forced to make a decision. It will be interesting to see if they can hire a quality manager to replace him. You would expect a team of their stature to be competing for promotion to the top flight, but they have been extremely disappointing this season.
There is no doubt that they have players who are performing better than they have this season. The manager has to bear some of the blame. However, players need to raise their performance levels as well.
It remains to be seen how the results will take shape over the next few weeks. It would not be surprising if a decision is made before the January window, if Leicester continue to falter.
