Max Verstappen apologized to Red Bull employees for George Russell clash, claims Christian Horner

Christian Horner, CEO of Red Bull Racing, revealed that Max Versapen apologized to the team members after he collided with George Russell during the Spanish Grand Prix for 2025. According to a statement issued on his Instagram handle, he addressed Verstapen the accident while extracting information after the race for the team.

The clash with a correspondent is assigned to both Verstapen and Red Bull. The world champion fell four times from the fourth place to the tenth after receiving a ten -second penalty, as it scored only one point. The result also witnessed Red Bull in the fourth place in the Benatin championship, which was now abandoning McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes.

The accident was seen as avoiding and contributing to a lost opportunity for the team. Max Verstapen was on his way to get a strong end until late developments and the team’s decision to return the position to Russell to more trouble. Horner noted that the safety car caused by Kimi Antonelle’s crash, was disrupted by the three -implementation strategy.

The team did not have a pace to challenge the leader of the race to Lando Norris, but the strong points were still possible. The safety of the safety car affected the result, and the accident with Russell eventually led to a disappointment. On the other side of the garage, Horner believed that Yuki Tsunoda was absent from the completion of the potential points. He felt that the Japanese driver was on a promising path before reformulating the safety car in the field, whose strategy impeded.

Red Bull Barcelona left with only one point between their drivers and increased pressure in both the championship. Horner considered the frustrating result, but he admitted that the uncertainty and the advice are part of this sport.

Horner said Kepriefing is the race on his social media:

“Spain closes the triple head and leave Barcelona frustrated because we did not take more race. As one team we attacked on the three station that was the best strategy, it was only the safety car that was not over. It was not possible that we had gone out of the tan

“SC also hurt the Yuki race, it was very close if he was not at points or if you look at the path it was. But this precedes.

Christian Horner treats Niko Rosberg’s comment and one race in one race

Christian Horner reduced the comments of Niko Rosberg that indicates that Max Versaben should have received the black flag for his collision with George Russell during the Spanish Grand Prix for 2025. In his talk to the media on the site after the race, the CEO of Red Bull Racing described the Rosberg Rating as exciting and chose not to clarify more.

Horner admitted that Verstapen should maintain clean driving standards in the upcoming races to avoid banning the race, as the Dutch is currently one penalty point away from the comment. He also pointed out that the Verstapen’s reaction to the path was likely to be a result of frustration, arising from the previous accidents during the race, specifically the sequence that included Charles Licerirk and George Russell.

The Red Bull team continues to manage Spain’s GP repercussions, as the Verstapen penalty has reduced its points and contributed to the Red Ball Zala to the fourth place in the Benin Championship.

When asked about Rosberg’s comment on Max Verstapen, he deserves black flag, Horner (via Racingnews 365) said:

“Niko is very exciting in the way he is stuck. So I will leave it in it.”

He was asked about the Dutchman who is close to banning the race, Horner replied:

))

Max Versaben won a ten -second penalty kick and three points for his license for his collision with George Russell during the Spanish Grand Prix. The Dutch now has a total of 11 penalty points, and it is less than just a ban in the race. He is still third in the drivers ranking with 137 points, but he saw the gap to the leader of the championship Oscar Baysiri to 49 points, to Lando Norris second to 39 points.

Red Bull’s position increased in the ranking of the two builders. The team slipped to fourth with 144 points. McLaren tops the ranking comfortably with 362 points, while Ferrari is in second place with 165 points, and Mercedes is in third place with 159.

Red Bull now follows 21 points and Mercedes by 15, which is an important gap in view of the narrow margins between the three teams before the Spanish GP.

The penalty and Max Versaben penalty caused by the tenth place has multiplied the current Red Paul problems with RB21, which still suffer from performance problems. The team’s contradiction is more amplified because of its lack of a strong second driver to regularly support Verstapen in points.

With a possible ban on the horizon for the ruling world champion, Red Ball faces an increasingly arduous battle to recover in the rest of the season.
