Mbeumo reveals talks with mutiple managers before settling on Amorim’s Manchester United vision

Brian Mbomo admitted that he had conversations with a number of managers before adhering to Manchester United – but he finally decided that Robin Amorim’s vision of the club was suitable for him.
The Cameroon striker became the second major signature in the summer, as he arrived from Berntard in a deal that could reach 71 million pounds.
While the Amorem team was from the first place in the long -term wolves striker Matthews being, the pursuit of MBEUMO was less clear because Newcastle United and Tottenham worked hard to seduce him from Old Trafford.
Despite the offers that included football in the Champions League, the 25 -year -old chose United because of the project that Amorim put him.
“I spoke to some other managers because I wanted to hear their projects, but Manchester United was very good for me,” MBBUMO said.
“Manchester United is a big club. I think it’s a great opportunity and I chose the project. I think I am a person who loves to challenge. There is a very good project in Manchester and I wanted to be part of it.
“It was a very friendly conversation [with Amorim] And one building. He explained to me his project, what he wanted to do and really clicked.
He said: “We are people who love to win, and we want to be the best team,” and of course this is what we will try to do. “
Negotiations with Berostford have proven long, and according to the sources, it caused a frustration of United.
The club believes that Princeford was pushing MBEUMO towards the English Premier League aspects, and it was often modified, creating a few weeks drawn.
Thinking about that period, MBEUMO said: “You have to be patient and try to just continue to think positively about things.
“Obviously, I was on my vacation, so I just wanted to think of comfort mentally and physically, and if it would happen, it will happen. I trust my people and I was convinced that it would happen.”
The striker fell in time to join the team on his tour before the season in the United States, but the start of the training later in the planned means that he is still waiting for his first appearance in a red shirt.
He may have to wait until friendly against Fiorentina in Old Trafford, just one week before the Premier League start, to happen for the first time.
While adapting to life in United, MBEUMO was spending time in connection with his new teammates and looking for a chess partner during the trip.

“I was told Josh [Zirkzee] “He plays, so I may need to play against him and bring chess plate,” he said.
“Playing online is unknown. I have a user name, choose a title and play against indiscriminate people online, and I use my chess panel against them.
“Chess, even if it is not physical, there is a lot of thinking.
“When you play football, you also think. Play chess, you can see some moves forward because it is a strategic game. In football you have your strategy also so you can tie it together.
“There was one time when I was really, really in it.
“I was watching YouTube videos while training on the app. I think it is even for the brain, it’s really good.
“You do football most of the time, every day, so sometimes you don’t have time to develop other skills. I love creativity and things.”
