McDonald’s testing new beverages at more than 500 US restaurants

McDonald’s shakes things later this summer with new drink options, including cold drinks, and hitting menus in more than 500 of their restaurants in the United States.

The next collection – which is part of the market test – is inspired by the Cosmc’s Restaurant in the series, which mainly focused on specialized drinks. The fast food giant announced in May announced that it was closing all Cosmc sites with a sign of some drinks at McDonald’s sites. Drinks that are tested will include coffee chipotings, cold coffee, soft drinks, and more, according to a press statement from McDonald’s.

The fast food chain has announced five new drinks to date: Cremy Vanilla Cold Brew, Strawberry Watermelon Refresher, Sprite Lunar Splash, Proping Topic Refresher and Vanilla Frappé roasted.

Customers will be able to experience the collection of new beverages in McDonald restaurants throughout Wisconsin, Colorado and nearby areas that start on September 2, as shown in the press statement.

“We are witnessing a real momentum in drinks, with more people-especially our Gen Z-turning into cold and delicious drinks as a treatment,” Alyssa Boettecover, the chief customer experience and marketing of customers in McDonald’s USA, said in a statement. “It is a great opportunity for us to meet the tastes of our customers in the United States and appear in new moments, such as post -noon refreshments or snack breaks.”

The company uses the test to find out what drinks and operations that work well in the United States so that it can then “expand intelligently and quickly”, according to McDonald’s.
