Trump, Rubio plotting to overhaul National Security Council

Trump announced on the same day that Waltz was nominated to be the United Nations ambassador.

The agency’s lifting plans will include the reduction of the size of the National Security Council, which the White House believes that Trump is full of bureaucratic employees who are not in line with the Trump agenda.

Waltz followed the agency’s involvement – along with other administration officials, including the Defense Minister Pete Hegseh – in the chat controversy on strike plans against the Houthis in March.
