Millions of visitors flock to the State Fair of Texas in 2025

More than two million people are expected to visit Dallas to attend the State Fair of Texas this year.

It is the longest event of its kind in the country, taking place over 24 days, from September 26 to October 19.

The fair’s unique food and drink offerings, from savory meals to desserts, are part of its long-standing tradition.

Fletcher Cornie Dog – $8

The potato chip brand unveils the biggest redesign in its nearly 100-year history

Featuring a hot dog coated in a slightly sweet corn paste, the product has been a staple at the State Fair of Texas since 1942. The Fletcher family says mustard was the right topping for a corn dog, but due to customer demand, ketchup was introduced in 1994. During the fair, the Fletchers will use 1,500 gallons of mustard and 800 gallons of ketchup.

Mustard beer – $10

This beer comes with a unique mustard flavor at the State Fair of Texas from Martin House Brewing Company. It’s bright yellow, refreshing and full of mustard flavour.

Bacon Cotton Candy on a Stick – $18

This 2024 Sweet Product of the Year award-winning dessert features a thick piece of bacon wrapped in pink cotton candy. It’s smoky, sweet and salty and doesn’t require a lot of napkins because it comes on a stick.

Bacon Queso Burger Funnel Bun – $18
