Five years ago, when Hurricane Laura was torn through Lake Charles, Louisiana, the Yorkshire 6 -pound hole is disappeared in the storm. But this is not the story of the middle missing dog.

Its owner, Deby Lavoor, inspected desperate, for fear of the worst. Then, from anywhere and after half a decade, he appeared somewhere that no one expected – not in a shelter, not with one of the neighbors, but on the back balcony of the college brothers.

“I never thought about seeing him again,” Lavoor told KBTX. “never.”

In early April, Kingston, who is now 11 years old, was discovered accidentally on the back steps of the Kapa Sigma house at the University of South Mississippi, wearing a red shirt as if just returned from the tail.

“There is only this is a Turkish sitting there in a red shirt.”

Of course, the brothers took it, called it “Bani” and worked as one of their own. He had a full range of home, shared their snacks and mixed with chaos better than some pledges.

“He is like a member of the class now,” Ratcha told KBTX. “He did everything with us during the past week.”

But it did not take long until he was curious. One of the two brothers brought the mysterious puppy to get a chip for him. This is when the truth came out. Bani was actually Kingston, and stated that he had lost five years ago in Charles Lake.

Dr. Sarah Guidri told KPLC, “years ago, Deby has been exposed to Kingston microgram at the animal clinic at Lake Charles University,” Dr. Sarah Guidri told KPLC. “Thus, the brothers at the University of South Mississippi began. It was a joyful and emotional reunion. Deby KBTX was told that the moment was sweet and bitter because Kingston belonged to each of them and her late husband, who died in 2022.

“This was our dog,” she said. “Perhaps this is what made this happen.”

For their part, Kappa Sigma Brothers was happy to play a role in reunification and proud of their temporary home guest. Deby praised them as “wonderful and wonderful comrades” to take Kingston and do the right thing.

“I am very happy to restore my child,” she told KBTX.
