Mother’s Day Godwink as unwed mother reunites with son through boy’s future mother-in-law

What should have been the happiest day for the 17 -year -old Darla’s life, she became mired.

After a long night of labor at St. Margaret Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, the young woman told her child’s back and that the C section was necessary.

A few hours later, she gave birth to a healthy child.

But there was no celebration. The uncomfortable mother made the painful decision to allow her child to adopt.

When the parents were wearing joy, she left the young mother who had just gave birth to a hollow pain.

“Please”, she cried to her nurse. “Let me hold my child. Just once. I need to tell him goodbye.”

The nurse Daniela Walters was a woman with a deep faith.
