Musk-led DOGE works to clean up death records in Social Security database

The Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) said on Monday that it works to clean millions of records in the social security department databases by setting a mark on the numbers listed at the age of 120.

“Over the past two weeks, Socialsecurity has begun to clean their records,” Dog wrote on Monday in a publication on X.

As, as of March 8, the social security database has included more than 12.3 million numbers holders as 120 years old or older. This number includes more than 1.3 million in the range of 150 to 159 years.

The collection of the group did not specify whether any of the numbers holders already receive the advantages of social security, as the leader of Dog Eleon Musk previously claimed.

MUSK pointed out last month that there are incredibly old pregnant women in the social security system and said, “There is a full set of social security payments where there is no definition information, such as, why there is no selection information?”

“The data reported are people in our records with a social security number that do not have a date of death associated with their record. These individuals do not necessarily receive benefits.”

The Social Security Administration (SSA) released its release on Monday, explaining that while the agency receives millions of death reports every year, “less than 1 percent has been reported about the deaths that must be made by mistake.”

SSA wrote: “The cases where a person is reported by accidentally being reported that they are dead on social security can be destroyed by the individual, wife and mothers,” SSA wrote. “Benefits are stopped in the short term that can cause financial hardship until the benefits and benefits are restored, and the process will seem to prove that the wrong death is always very long and difficult.”

Seattle Times recently reported a 82 -year -old Ned Johnson from Seattle, which was characterized by the error and the agency died at some point in February. Johnson told the perpetrator that the experiment was “really surreal”, and the agency expanded the restoration payments from his account.

Then he performed an operation for three weeks, in an attempt to correct the situation over the phone to no avail during the first two weeks, before appointing an appointment in late March. Johnson was frustrated by the delay and went to the Social Security Office in the center of Seattle, where the employees managed several hours after checking that he still lives and corrects the agency’s records.

The SSA press statement shows how the numbers who are classified incorrectly should be available as available to address the situation, which currently requires an original form of identity.

“If a person suspected of being incorrectly listed as died in the social security record, he must contact the local social security office as soon as possible,” SSA wrote. “They should be ready to bring at least one piece of the current (unidentified) original shape.”

The agency added: “Social security takes immediate measures to correct its records, and the agency can provide a letter that the error that can be shared with organizations, agencies and other employers has been corrected.”
