Canceled Hellraiser Prequel Would Have Cast A Dark Knight Actor As Pinhead

“Hello”, which arises from Novella “The Hellbound Heart”, caused legendary suffering for its victims for nearly 40 years. At that time, the concession traveled everywhere from New York City to France in the Middle Ages to outer space. Regardless of the site, however, there is still one fixed thing: the priest of hell, also known as Pinhead, and Cenobites have great scenes to show any dark person (or just neglect) enough to call them using the formation of lamentation (an infernal power box).

In the 1987 “hellraiser” movie, Frank Coton (Sean Chapman) began a series (literally, in this case) from the events that afflict his family at the hands of Cenobites. However, all we learn about Frank is that he gained the puzzle box, punished, fled from hell, and returned a relationship with his brother’s wife while he made blood sacrifices to restore him. The time between it is to find the square and confront Cenobites to a largely documented, but it will be interesting to narrate.

There is no denial that Frank is a messy and a wicked doctrine, but what made him in this way, and why did he follow the demonic box in the first place? These questions could have been answered in the unproductive “Helraiser” starring William Fishten, who may be famous for his beings in “The Dark Knight” and “Armageddon”, as the notorious hell priest.

The restarting “Helraiser” concerned was treated by director Patek Lucy and writer Todd Farmer, and the duo behind worship such as “Drive Angry” and “My Bloody Valentine”. During a conversation with Crypt (via “The Clive Barker Podcast”) in 2015, Lussier shared some details about their plan to convert “Helraiser” into an adventure film packed with a wicked heart:

“The idea was basically that we do not see Frank’s story getting the box. Therefore, imagine if Frank is actually the darkest copy of Jack Power [from ’24’] Nicolas Cage is from the “National Treasure”. The story of the “evil” national treasure.

The director of “Dracula 2000” added that one sequence would have witnessed Frank to go on a killing in Shanghai, and it reached its climax to hold some enemies and get nails in his head. However, during these moments, the puzzle box for which he calls Cenobites to tear his soul. Fichtner – who played a demon in “Drive Angry” – would lead the Cenobite brigade, but Lossary and Farmer did not discuss their plans for the character with any great details.

In the end, “Helraiser” received a restart of 2022 courtesy of David Brucker. Who knows if Lucé and farmer would have been better, but the movie “Hellraiser” is inspired by “National TERASURE” and “24” looks interesting, don’t you think that?
