Musk says DOGE’s spending cuts necessary or ‘ship of America will sink’

Billionaire Elon Musk talked about the reason for his passion for the work that the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) has done to reduce federal spending, saying he believed it is necessary to prevent the country from drowning in bankruptcy.

Musk was asked while appearing on “Hannity” about the reason for the existence of spending, the elimination of alleged fraud, waste, and ill -treatment to support the financial affairs of the United States government.

“Government waste and fraud is so high that it causes an annual deficit of $ 2 trillion, including $ 2000 billion of waste and fraud that takes place,” Musk claimed. “The cost of our debt has increased to the point that interest payments on debt exceeded the entire military budget, and were growing out of control.”

“The country goes bankrupt. The country is not different from someone. If the country excessively and does not spend wisely, just like anyone, the country will go bankrupt.”

“That is why I am here I am very concerned about bankruptcy from the country because of corruption and waste,” Musk said. “

Then he said that the Americans who have wealth or control companies should be supportive of Doj’s efforts because if the country goes bankrupt, these companies will not exist.

“This may be a message, as you know, the people who are the wealthy, they have a lot of means, or control companies – it’s like, just remember, we are all on the America’s ship here. Your company will not be present if the America’s ship sank, and we must do everything we can to ensure that America is strong in the future, or we are all strange.”

One of these incidents occurred in Las Vegas in the early hours of Tuesday morning when multiple vehicles were at the Tesla Service Center. Five vehicles were damaged, including the two who were shot, and the FBI said that the accident “certainly had some distinctive features” of a terrorist attack, but it was too early to say for sure.

“This level of violence is very crazy and very sinister. Tesla just manufactures electric cars and did nothing to deserve these evil attacks,” Musk said in a post on the social media platform X.
