The White House confirmed on Wednesday that Elon Musk will get out of his role in the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) on the appointment later in this spring, once “his amazing work in Doug was completed.”

Levitte was referring to the Politico article stating that “Trump told his internal circle and members of the cabinet that” musk “would return in the coming weeks of its current role.” However, MUGK has long been expected to retreat when a “private government employee” was running out in May.

Musk has been the general face of Doge since President Donald Trump signed an executive order established the office on January 20.

Musk was officially appointed as a “private government employee”, a role established by congress in 1962 that allows the executive or legislative authority to employ temporary employees for specific short -term initiatives.

The government employees are allowed to work in the federal government for “no more than 130 days in a period of 365 days,” according to data from the government ethics office. The 130 -day MUSK time frame on the opening day dries on May 30.

“Politico has become a tablloide sheet that prefers to manage false news for clicks instead of real reporting,” White House spokesman Harrison Fields. “This is exactly the reason that President Trump and Douj have ended millions of dollars in annoying government contracts for the so -called news organizations that reduced their credibility with the American people.”

Musk and Trump had previously inspected that the role of Musk was temporary and will come in the coming weeks.

“You, technically, is a private government employee and is supposed to be 130 days,” he asked Brett Bayer Pirates News Mousse during an exclusive interview with Duwaij leader and his team members on Thursday. “Will you continue in the past or do you think this is what you will do?”

Musk replied: “I think we will complete most of the work required to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars during this time frame.”
