The National Association for the progress of the NAACP is sustaining Texas for its plan to re -divide the circles that will eliminate five democratic seats in Congress.
NAACP filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, on the pretext that the new congress map “was enacted for an unacceptable discriminatory purpose and monitoring on the basis of race.” Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Foreign Minister of Texas Nelson were named as prosecutor.
“It is quite clear that Texas’s efforts to re -divide the contract in the middle of the contract, before the renewal elections in the next year, are racist motives. The state’s intention here is to reduce members of Congress who represent black societies, and that in itself, it is unconstitutional,” Derek Johnson, President and CEO of Naac Johnson said in a statement on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, NAACP said it also encourages blue countries to enact plans to re -divide their circles in an attempt to compensate for the effects of the new Texas map.

The group wrote on Tuesday: “At this time, NAACP urges California, New York and all other states to act immediately by re -dividing the circuits and passing new, legal and constitutional electoral maps,” the group wrote on Tuesday. “We must face the unconstitutional step of Texas and make sure that if everything fails, the black Americans still have a voice in Congress.”
Texas passed its new map on Saturday, where it won political victory despite weeks of Democrats who broke the quorum, which included fleeing from the state to avoid voting.

The Republican Senate approved the map of the re-dividing the departments on Friday, just two days after the Republican Party’s control of the Republican Party was cleared with a vote 88-52.
