narayana murthy – ‘A few bright IITians got some seed money from better halves…’: Harsh Goenka’s Bengaluru post sparks a debate

The head of the RPG Harsh Goenka collection has sparked a discussion about the changing identity of Bangaluru with his last position on X. Share a picture of the founder of Infosys Narayana Murthy and Nandan Nilekani, Goenka reflected how the city moved from a peaceful haven to a traffic school.

“Once, Bangaluru was a quiet haven – walking at Cubbon Park, leisurely in Premier Padmini, and after the noon lazy that spent in strange libraries,” he wrote.

“After that, a few bright Iitians got some of the seed money from their best, and now … we spend more time on the outer ring road instead of enjoying the Garden City breeze. Progress, they call it!” Gwnca added.

The Goenka Publisher soon made a wave of reactions to X, with users in the city’s development and increasing pain. Some have echoed his concerns about the infrastructure in the dilapidated Bangaluru, while others defended the high technology in the city.

One of the users wrote, “Bangalore is one of the cities that have had the possibility … In the last two decades, they saw that the city is growing … until today on roads and rays under the city, that is, the park city is better than the advanced city … they can blame for blame … they cannot adhere to building them. Not building Infra … took advantage of the city.”

Others looked at the growth of Bangaluru as a natural result to become a technical capital. “Bangaluru’s transformation is a case study in urban development. Thank you, Iitians and Infosys!” One user hung.

Some have called for more balanced. “We cannot be a butter on both sides of the bread and eaten it also comfortably, Gwenca Saib. I never saw Bangaluru, not even when it was called Bengalor. Perhaps it was likely that the supervision of the city’s readings from MCB was their decision to allow it and many other companies to reach either within the city’s borders or just adjacent.

In addition, one of the users said: “Development comes at a certain cost. Overpopulation is side effects. The people who criticize them have created job opportunities for many, including me.”
