New York Assembly passes bill to legalize assisted suicide for the terminally ill

On Tuesday, the New York State Association approved a draft law that would be legitimized for normal suicide for persons with medical diseases, and this procedure is sent to the Senate in the state.
Medical assistance in the death law passed the association with a vote 81-67. This procedure will allow a mental adult who has been granted six months or less to live in the option to prescribe fatal medicines.
Amy Paulin’s sponsor, Amy Paulin, said she was excited to submit legislation after her sister’s death with ovarian cancer.
“I don’t know if she will benefit from this medicine if she had the opportunity, but I can tell you that when she died, I was not there,” Pauline, Democrat, told reporters, according to the New York Post.

“When she died, my other sisters were not there, and this was her desire.”
The member of the Democratic Society, Karens Reyes, the registered nurse, said that the draft law would allow people to die of dignity.
“If you do not believe in it, do not benefit from this option, but I think it is inhuman to tell people that we are forcing them to continue their suffering,” said Reyes.
Suicide with the help of medical support in New York has received over the past decade, but opponents of this measure argue that it is like suicide with the help of the state.
“I saw my mother dying. I saw my daughter dying. I know that for the fact that no one of us comes out from here. At one stage or another, we will all go, but I do not think that there should be a mixture of six drugs that were offered to someone to end his life.”

“The progress on a straight line may not be different with each of us, but the idea of surrender and death does not excel at all. It is incredibly sad,” referring to the state slogan, “Excelsior” which means “up.”
Senate leader Andrea Stewart Cosins said that she would discuss the bill with members of the Senate, but she did not say whether it would put it to vote on the ground.
