Newark Airport chaos, Bering Air crash highlight need for airline tech reform now

One of the most interconnected air travel legislators in the country warned that outdated technology – such as “flexible tablets” – and continuous air traffic control crises (ATC) in the main centers has doubled the need to repair the US air travel system.

senator Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, who is also sitting in the Senate Trade and Transport Committee, spoke to Fox News Digital exclusively on Wednesday where the crisis was installed, the last of which was in the Philadelphia ATC sector; Specifically at the Newark Liberty International Airport.

“What is happening, unfortunately, is often a tragedy that is what inspires and stimulates reform,” he said, adding that the Ministry of Transport must be probably, under the Minister of Sean Duffy, a focus “for prediction.[ing] And preparation[ing]”

On a modern tour of the Anchorage Center, he spoke to the workers of the short armed forces and saw how they depend, just like other sectors, on flexible tablets in the twentieth century and “strips of paper like after that notes.”

He said: “What we do not want, unfortunately – it happened – it is disruption and a great tragedy as something that inspires change.” He recently blamed the Biden administration, partly, for his appearance on giving priority to diversity on objects in USDot.

“I have seen this: The employment of people to manage federal aviation in terms of air traffic monitors is a competitive. It requires real education. It requires high performance. Biden came, and I think in the name of diversity … they started to literally get people out of the street without any background in any of this.

He said that he spoke with Duffy on Tuesday and expected a “large comprehensive reform program” in the coming weeks and months.
