Chelsea and Newcastle United are interested in signing the Brighton Joao Pedro striker during the summer transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle has already contacted the Premier League club in terms of moving to the 23 -year -old Brazilian striker. Meanwhile, the player is “greatly appreciated” by Chelsea, and it will be interesting to know if they decide to make an offer to sign it.

Where will Pedro end?

Chelsea needs more depth in the attack unit. Pedro Nicholas Jackson can support the attack next season. The opportunity to join one of the largest clubs in England will be very exciting for the player. It will be a big step in his career, and he will test himself at a high level.

Meanwhile, Ben Jacobs confirmed that Newcastle is paying the player’s signature. Chelsea looks at him as a substitute for Kristover Nizko, who is likely to leave the club this summer. Pedro scored 10 goals and won seven assists last season.

Chelsea has won the Champions League qualifications for the next season, and they will look forward to the struggle for major prizes. They need more quality on the side to match the European elite. They can have an advantage in the race because the player wants to live in London.

Likewise, Newcastle will compete in the Champions League as well. They were excessively dependent on Alexander Isac, and needed more support in the attack.

It is fair that we assume that both clubs will have to pay in addition to the signature of the player. It is highly classified in Brighton, and they are under pressure to sell it. They will only be allowed to live in their terms, and the two clubs will have to pay a large amount of money in order to complete the deal.
