Newsom, Vance exchange jabs over immigration after VP’s California vacation: ‘Hope you enjoy your family time’

California Governor Gavin New Roire and Vice president JD Vance exchanged criticism this weekend for the Trump administration’s collective deportation policies after Vice President’s vacation to Disneyland in Golden State.

Vans’s visit came shortly after ice raids on two California farms, where Federal customers detained a few hundred illegal immigrants, which sparked protests against the enforcement of immigration. One person was killed in the raids and others were seriously injured.

Rodney Scott, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner (CBP), said that 10 illegal immigrant minors – including eight bars – had been discovered on a farm in Camarelo and that he was under investigation due to children’s work violations.

The operation came on farms after weeks of anti -iceberg’s protests in southern California due to raids targeting migrant workers in local companies.
