Robert Kraft has been named a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Robert Kraft is one step closer to being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The New England Patriots owner has been named a finalist for the class of 2026, the first time he has made it that far. He is the only finalist in the Contributors category

Kraft could be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside former Patriots coach Bill Belichick. The North Carolina coach, who led the Patriots to their most successful era, is also a finalist. Both Kraft and Belichick have received the endorsement of Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells.

“Most of the voting stuff has ended up being political, but you can’t dispute what they’ve accomplished,” Parcells said of Kraft and Belichick. “When you accomplish more than anyone else, it would be pretty ridiculous if it didn’t get them there.”

To receive the honor in Canton next summer, each must receive at least 80% approval from the full selection committee next month. Bill Belichick is widely considered the front-runner for the draft, while Robert Kraft’s voting fate remains uncertain.
