Nine Big Lots stores set to open this week under new ownership

Variety traders are looking to open a handful of Big Lots on Thursday in the first “four -opening waves” that they planned for the retail stores they bought.
The company detailed the plan late last week, saying that the “first wave” will include nine stores across Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Customers can anticipate “reshaping stores, a large range of closing deals and new goods categories” when these large cut sites restart Thursday operations, according to wholesalers.
