Josh Stein, the governor of North Carolina State, has transferred four controversial bills targeting diversification, fairness, and integration (Dei) and transgender rights, making a political struggle with the general assembly led by Republicans.
Stein, a democratic, criticized the three bills that focus on Dei as a “medium” that would “marginalize the weak” and aim for Republicans who failed to pass a financial budget for this year that has just started.
Bills Dei should prohibit DEI training, employment practices and employee positions in government governments and local governments, as well as prohibit the use of state funds for Dei programming. Legislation would have imposed civil sanctions on workers who violate the rules. No Democrats supported the three bills Dei.

“While teachers and law enforcement and state employees need to increase wages, and people need shorter lines in DMV, the legislative body failed to pass a budget, and instead, he wants to pay our attention by neglecting the cultural wars that divide us more,” Stein said in a statement.
“These intermediate bills will marginalize the weak people, as it undermines the quality of public services and public education. Therefore, I am the right to veto them. I am ready to work with the legislature when they become serious in protecting people and addressing North Caroline’s concerns.”
The measures they cut off or eliminate the initiatives of diversity, shares and integration in government governments and local governments, public schools from kindergarten to the twelfth grade and the university system is a major priority for the Republican Party administrators. They argue that the targeted programs have increased the confirmation of an identity at the expense of merit and societal unit.

It also confirms the recognition of two sexes and requires the state to attach the birth certificate of the official transgender person to their old birthday if they change their gender appointed at birth.
Stein said in the message of cassation that he strongly supported the provisions of anti -sex exploitation in the draft law, but the final procedure went away. He added, “My faith teaches me that we are all sons of God regardless of our differences and that it is wrong to target the weak people, as this law does.”
One democratic support is the fourth bill before Stein leads to cassation against him. All four bills are now returning to the General Assembly, which can be resumed later this month to try to violate veto.
