Nvidia and the AI boom helps Malaysia’s Nationgate debut on the Southeast Asia 500 with a 720% revenue surge

Southeast Asia’s 500 fastest growing company can thank the artificial intelligence boom at its rapid height. The Toulidi AI has prompted an investment increase to data centers, which provides infrastructure for storing, processing and distributing data, and the key to operating artificial intelligence applications.

Malaysia has obtained a large share of this investment, as it attracts deals with billions of Google, Oracle and Microsoft over the past 18 months.

Some of this noise has strengthened the wealth of some Malaysian companies, including Notelgate, an electronics manufacturing service provider.

The company achieved 5.27 billion Malaysian Ranjet ($ 1.6 billion) of revenue last year, and it is high enough to put it in No. 243 in Southeast Asia 500. More amazingly, the company has grown its revenues by more than 720 %, making it the fastest growth company in terms of revenue in this year’s list.

National also received $ 342 million of profits, 163 % over the previous year.

The company’s data computing sector increased its revenues, contributing 88 % this year compared to 17 % in 2023. Nationalgate also works with car and communication sectors.

More than half of the Nationalgate revenue comes from Malaysia. Another third comes from Singapore. It can be said that the two countries are the Data Center centers in Southeast Asia.

One of the main companies in Notorgate is the collection of artificial intelligence products. It has a major advantage in this field, such as the only original original equipment manufacturer in NVIDIA in Southeast Asia. This means that nationaligate is the only company in the region that brings the graphics processing units to pass high in NVIDIA to AI’s servers. NVIDIA graphics processing units are the most used in high -performance AI applications.

National Stegate sees “tremendous potential” in artificial intelligence, and that her entry into the artificial intelligence servant factory will help her benefit from annual growth “dual number” in the data center investments in Southeast and World.

But artificial intelligence boom also brings risks.

Malaysia and Singapore have faced scrutiny due to allegations that both countries are American chips channels to reach China. In particular, US officials are said to study whether Dibsic, the start of the Chinese artificial intelligence, is circumventing export control measures in the United States with the help of third parties in Singapore.

In March, the Minister of law and Home Affairs in Singapore said that the servers containing chips controlled by American export controls seem to have been sent to Malaysia. After this claim, the Minister of Trade Malaysia Tingco Zrul Abdel Aziz said that the officials were investigating and pledged to take the necessary measures against local companies that participate in fraud.

On a wider scale, countries in Southeast Asia were subject to possible American bases that would determine the number of artificial intelligence chips they could buy. (The Trump administration canceled this proposal last month.)

Nationgate distanced himself from the topic and explained that he did not participate in the investigations. But investors are still scary. Nationalgate shares decreased by 40 % this year.
