NVIDIA and Dell announced on Thursday that supernatural computers supported by artificial intelligence (AI) will be launched next year to help pay research at the Ministry of Energy (DOE).
The two companies were granted a contract by the Ministry of Energy to develop the new pioneering computer at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory-known as the Berkeley Laboratory-which will be due in 2026. The super computer is expected to help progress in energy research, material science, astronomical science, and discoveries of theaters at the NESC Scientific Account (NERSC). Berkeley Laboratory.
The drivers of DELL bodies will be operated with AI’s solutions from NVIDIA and capable of supporting computing work burdens on a large scale, such as those in molecular dynamics, high -power physics, artificial intelligence training and inference.
Energy Minister Chris Wright said.
The supercomputs in Dodna were named after Jennifer Dodna, a vital chemist based in Berkeley Laboratory, which won the Nobel Prize for the year 2020 for chemistry in appreciation of its work in the genetic liberalization technology.

“It will be a force for rapid innovation that will bring us abundant and raised energy supplies, outbreaks in quantum computing, and more,” said Wright. “Amnesty International is the Manhattan project of our time, and Doda will help ensure American scientists have the tools they need to win the global race for the dominance of artificial intelligence.”
Doudna’s performance capacity is expected to exceed 10 times from Perlmturt, which is the current pioneering pioneering computer in Berkeley Laboratory, in terms of scientific output, while the energy use is expected to increase only by two or three factor. In general, the performance is expected to exceed three to five times.
