Nvidia says its chips have no ‘backdoors’ after China raises concerns

The NVIDIA technology giant said on Thursday that its chips do not contain any “background devices” that allow others to reach or control a distance, after China’s concerns about the security of the company’s H20 artificial intelligence chip.
“Cyber security is very important to us,” Nvidia spokesman told Fox Business in an email. “NVIDIA does not contain” Backdoors “devices in our chips that will give anyone a distant way to reach or control.

China has previously accused American technology companies of providing security threats, and in 2023, the country banned the main infrastructure operators of buying products from the American Micron Memory Memory maker, according to Reuters.
