New York Governor Cathy Hochol – previously the Lieutenant Governor under the leadership of Andrew Como – said on Sunday that she had identified “alignment areas” with the socialist candidate in New York City, Zahran Mamdani.
The host “Fox News Sunday”, Shannon Brem Hutchoul, asked whether she was supporting Mamdani, who is now nominating against Komo and others, after she indicated how the candidate praised her by hosting her from Democratic legislators in Texas who fled the state to deter the Republican Party.
“We still have many differences. I don’t know how to whiten it away,” Hachol said. “He can agree with me, and many people agree with them, and I think not only Democrats who say that New York residents are defending our rights. We are doing so. This is what we do it is difficult to do. We are fighters. I am a mother of Bouvalo. I think they are not aggressive to take my mother from Bouvalo, perhaps.”

“There are many areas of disagreement, but there are also areas of alignment, including the ability to withstand costs.” “As you know, I touched his election nerve. People said, you know what, we do not advance. Trump’s policies promised to raise people, reduce costs, not touch medical, and make sure that the definitions create job opportunities, nothing of that has happened. So there is a feeling that we need some change now.”
As a ruler, Hochol said she worked with a different mayor in New York City, and she will continue to “work with those who want voters, and I will make him work.”

“I will make it succeed because I will not go to war with 8 million New York residents who also represented them, so my job is to calm things down,” Hachol said. “Let’s see what the election results are, but people must realize that the candidate for the mayor has also touched a nerve and we need to respond to that. So I am parallel to him that we need to start finding ways to make life more affordable for the New York residents.”
Hochol assumed the role of the ruler after Komo stepped in multiple disputes and was later elected for a full period.
