Former New York Governor Andrew Como says he is confident that he can defeat the Democratic Party candidate and Hyper Zahran Mamdani in a candidate for the New York City mayor.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg News, Komo said, as he referred to Mamdani, the 33 -year -old Social Democratic legislator from Queens, who shocked the political world in June through the top of Komo and nine other candidates in the democratic preliminary elections: “I think I beat the association’s member.”
But Komo, the former triple -term ruler who resigned in 2021 amid multiple scandals, for Mamdani’s defeat, must be a successful effort to “decline” in the current field of five columns in the country’s most populated city.

Mamdani reached 37 % support in the latest survey poll, an opinion poll at the Smona Research Institute that was conducted from August 4 to 7, with Cuomo by 23 %.
