On Mother’s Day, second lady Usha Vance shares insights into her role and goals as a mom

Exclusive – First on the fox: While mothers across the country gather with their families and friends to celebrate Mother’s Day 2025, I asked Fox News Digital Mrs. Osha Vans II about the meaning of the holiday for her and how she will spend the special occasion.
Mrs. Vans shared an insight into her double roles for the second lady and a mother of young children.
“The budget law today is sometimes easier than it was when I was working full time in the private sector because I control my schedule and I do not feel withdrawal in many directions,” she told Fox News Digital.

“However, raising children in the eyes of the public is new challenges,” she said.
“While I definitely miss the work, I am grateful because I have time to ensure that our home life is as normal and stable as possible.”
On Mother’s Day, the second lady, Osha Vans, revealed her plans for the special occasion, as well as the visions of paternity and motherhood, which is a balance between family life with her new role in Washington, DC. (Reuters)

The second lady said: “My mother does not give direct advice, but I learned from her example in an endless way.”
“One of her talents as a parent makes me always feel that I am very careful, regardless of how busy, and I tried hard to make my children feel the same way.”

“I shared an early celebration of Mother’s Day with military mothers at the White House,” said Ms. Vans.
“But on Sunday we will get a quiet day, with the height of the family and sweets by JD.”

Fox News Digital was told that the vice president, along with his children, would make it the brown hazelnut butter cake.
With Mother’s Day gifts, the second lady said she might have received her surprise early.

“My children made me present in pre -school, but they were very excited to wait until Mother’s Day, so we opened them early.”

Mrs. Vance sat with Fox News “Ainsley Erhardt” last August and indicated that her parents were “very comfortable.”
