Indianapolis 500: Which drivers have earned the most from the race?

Indycar drivers will race to the volatile flag on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis 500.

The Indy 500 this year will indicate 109 of the race, which is often referred to as “the greatest scene in the race”, where about 350,000 people are expected to attend.

Helio Castroneves won the Indy Prize 500 four times, their first two to happen in 2001 and 2002. The other two Brazilian driver came in 2009 and 2021, according to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Scott Dixon, born in New Zealand, has one winning 500 by India 500 in his name. He won the race in 2009 with Target Chip Ganassi Racing using the Dalra and Honda engine, according to The Speedway. The Sunday race marks its start 23 Indy500.

Tony Kanan raced in Indy500 22 times, and won the race in 2013. He is currently the manager of the Arrow McLaren Indycar team.

Dario Franchitti – 8,931,638 dollars

Dario Franchitti won Indy 500 in 2007, 2010 and 2012, according to Indiannapolis Motor Speedway, which retired in 2013.

Dan Wildon – 8,264,550 dollars

Dan Wildon won in two Indie 500s in 2005 and 2011. The British driver died during a crash in the final Indicar series in the same season in which he won his second title Indie 500. During his career career in Indycar, he won 16 races.
