British broadcaster Piers Morgan has shared his reaction to a report claiming that director Rob Reiner was murdered by his son. According to media reports, the director’s daughter, Romy, found the couple dead. Knife wounds were reportedly found on the couple’s bodies. While sources have claimed that Nick Rayner stabbed his father and mother, authorities have yet to issue an official statement. According to People, Nick was also questioned by the cops. However, he was not arrested.
Rob Reiner’s family issued a statement confirming the death of the director and his wife. According to Variety, the statement stated the following:
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic deaths of Michelle and Rob Reiner. We are deeply saddened by this sudden loss, and ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time.”
