Plane Carrying Members of Congress Involved in Runway Collision in DC

An American eagle plane is scheduled to leave Washington, DC, to New York on Thursday afternoon with another plane on the runway at Ronald Reagan National Airport. One of the aircraft had at least seven members of congress, according to a report issued by NBC News. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and both planes were able to return to the station for inspection, according to a statement issued by US Airlines submitted to the BBC.

The two journeys involved in the collision on the basis are the American Eagle Flight 5490, run by PSA Airlines, headed to Charleston International Airport in South Carolina, and Rspubs America Flight 4522, which headed to JFK International Airport in New York with members of Kandags on the plane. The flight pavilion hit 5490 flights 4522 on the runway around 12:45 pm local time.

According to American airlines, there were 67 passengers on the flight to Charleston and 76 on the flight to New York.
