When Josef Newgarden admitted his team carried him to a dramatic IndyCar win

The Pensky Joseph New Vegdin star won the Phoenix Grand Prix for the year 2018 in the Phoenix International Race. This was the first victory for this season for New Vegdin, and Penske driver praised his team for his victory.

Newgarden entered the Indycar 2018 championship as the ruling world after winning his first title in 2017. Penske driver finished the first P7 race in the Grand St. Petersburg and was still looking for a strong result for Kickstart Defense.

The strong result came in the second race of the season in Phoenix, where New Cagen won the race after he started in P7. Penske driver ran with the lead package for most of the race before making a decisive strategic decision at the end of the race he won at Phoenix Grand Prix.

International phoenix international Raceway is a small oval, with a length of only 1.0 miles, making it very difficult to override. “It was the victory of the team tonight. I don’t know that I deserve to win the race tonight, but I think the team did it. They did a really good job in the strategy. The hole was unbelievable. Joseph New Vegdin continued to win two more race during the Indicar 2018 season, but he only managed to fifth in the championship.
