Musk departs Trump White House: What’s next for Tesla?

The CEO of Tesla El Musk announced on Wednesday that his time with the Trump administration as a private government employee has ended, and he will allow him to leave his attention to his attention on the electric car maker.

Musk wrote in a post about X that he appreciates the opportunity to establish the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) in his role as a private government employee, who was limited to 130 days under the law.

A group of Tesla shareholders, including the treasury secretary and retirement managers, sent a message on Wednesday to Robyn Denholm, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and urged the board of directors to spend at least 40 hours a week in Tesla.

The message said, “The external Musk efforts seem to have transformed his time and interest from the Tesla Operations Department actively, as any other CEO of Tadawul publicly is expected to do.”

They also asked to adopt Tesla and revealed a plan that attaches the CEO, as well as the appointment of “at least one independent director, with no personal relationships for other members of the Board of Directors.”
