president Donald Trump blasted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in a Sunday Truth Social post, calling her a “traitor” to the United States after the Georgia Republican called the president’s previous criticism of her a “dog whistle for dangerous extremists.”

“Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (remember Green turns to Brown where ROT is involved!) is working overtime trying to paint herself as a victim when in reality she is the cause of all her own problems. The truth is, no one cares about this traitor to our country!” The president confirmed.

The president has repeatedly targeted Greene in recent Truth Social posts, but the congresswoman has been pushing back against the president’s attacks.

“I have now begun scam pizza deliveries to my home and family members. Update: We also received a pipe bomb threat on my construction company’s office building. President Trump’s vicious and unprovoked attacks against me have been a wake-up call for dangerous extremists that could lead to dangerous attacks on me and my family,” she declared in part of a Sunday post on X, before the president later attacked her again in a Truth Social post.

In another part of the post, she asserted: “I am not a traitor. However, when the President of the United States irresponsibly calls a member of congress from his own party a traitor, he is signaling what should be done to the traitor. I fought harder than anyone else to help President Trump get elected and I support his administration and the promises we made on the campaign trail.”

In a post on Friday, Trump raised the possibility of backing a primary challenger against Greene.

“I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, from the great state of Georgia,” the president announced in part of the post. “I understand that the wonderful conservatives are considering prioritizing Marjorie in the Georgia district, and that they too are tired of her and her antics, and if the right person runs, they will have my full, unwavering support.”

In a post on Saturday, he criticized her as a “RINO,” an acronym that refers to the Republican Party in name only.
