A drunken raccoon was taken into custody after breaking into a Virginia liquor store on Black Friday and participating in what officials deemed an “alcohol-fueled rampage.”

A series of smashed liquor bottles led police to the masked suspect, who was found passed out in a resting position on the bathroom floor at an Ashland business, according to Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter.

In an embarrassing photo published by the authorities, procyonide can be seen stuck next to the trash can and the toilet.

The town later identified the four-legged intruder as “Cole,” noting that he might need a ride home after a “wild weekend.”

Police brought the furry thief to the animal shelter so he could wake up, officials said.

“After a few hours of sleep and no signs of injury (other than perhaps alcohol and poor life choices), he was safely released back into the wild, hopefully learning that breaking and entering is not the answer,” officials wrote in a statement.

The shelter added that there is no footage of the incident, as the raccoon entered the building through the roof and “took the cameras with it.”

Police have not yet announced a motive for the panda’s trash invasion, although they responded to the animal shelter’s statement with a GIF of TV talent judge Simon Cowell clapping.
