Glasgow Rangers is now “hoping” in the signature of Leicester City, at a value of £ 75,000 per week, along with midfielder Joe Rothuel, according to the recent IBrox transfer report.

Rangers is close to the signature of Joe Rothuel from Bournemouth

It was a crowded time recently for GERS, who finally found Philip Clement in the form of Russell Martin and since then they added their first addition, with Max Arons joining a loan from AFC Bournemouth.

Martin and Geers are now to cherry to complete another signature. According to Sky Sports’ Mark Mcadam, Rangers agreed to an agreement with Bournemouth to sign Rothweell on a permanent basis, although the midfielder has offers to move to La Liga.

It is not clear how clear Gers want to spend on the midfielder, but given that he entered the last year of his contract in Bournemouth, this may be a relatively low fee. The 30 -year -old spent last season on loan in Leeds United, playing 36 times in the championship, as the eggs won the title of promotion to the English Premier League.

Before working in Yorkshire, Rothuel spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan in Southampton, where he worked with Martin and helped the saints promote the Premier League. The husband is now appointed to work together again, this time in Scotland.

Rangers “hope” to sign

As the GERS team approaches a deal with the Rothweell, according to the STV SPORTS Raman Bhardwaj, Rangers are still “optimistic” who can get an agreement to sign a Conor Coady from Leesester City.

This was reported two days ago by The Daily Record that the conversations are continuing between both Rangers and Fox on a deal with CODY. England International is under a contract at the King Power Stadium until 2026, but it is not clear how much Leicester asked to sell cannons, because they are not ready to allow him to leave for free.

In addition to agreeing on a deal with Leicester, GERS must also approve personal terms with the former Defender Everton and Wolves, because it earns 75,000 pounds a week at King Power Stadium.

Scottish giants have already have some options in the heart of their defense, but given the extent of Celtic last season, it is clear that Martin feels that he needs more experience and leadership qualities in his defense.

CODY struggles continued in Leicester last season, playing only 22 times in the Premier League, and many of these appearances at the end of the season came under the leadership of Ruud Van Nisstelroy, who has now left. Moving to Scotland may be logical now for CODY, as it looks forward to continuing to play at a high level as possible.
