Ukrainian President Foludmir Zelinski rejected President Donald Trump’s allegations that Russia was serious in following peace on Sunday.
Zelenskyy made the statement during an interview with ABC News “this week” with the host Martha Rattaz. He said that Putin wanted the war to continue, although Ukraine is still working in ceasefire negotiations.
“With all the obligatory respect for President Trump, I think he is only his personal opinion,” said Zellinski when asked about Trump’s view of Putin. “Trust me, we understand the Russians much better, the mentality of the Russians, which the Russian Americans understand. I definitely know that Putin does not want to stop the war.”
Trump’s analogy continued, similar to Russia’s war of Ukraine for two children fighting in a garden.

“We do not play in the garden with the Russians like two boys, two children,” said Zellinski, telling the story of a Ukrainian man who lost his wife and three missiles.
“That is why we are not children on the field. Putin is a killer to the park to kill children,” he added.
Trump presented the measurement during a government visit to German Chancellor Friedrich Mirz to the Oval Office last week.

“Sometimes you see two young children fighting like madness – they hate each other, fighting in a garden, trying to dismantle them, and do not want to pull it.” “Sometimes it is better to allow them to fight for a while and then dismantle them.”
Trump said that he presented this measurement to Putin in his invitation with him last week and said he had told the Kremlin president, “Maybe you should continue to fight and suffer a lot.”
