Barrack to support Trump’s Middle East vision as new Syria Special Envoy

Tom Barak, the American ambassador to Türkiye and former president Donald Trump’s former adviser, announced on Friday that he would fill the role of the United States’s special envoy to Syria, highlighting the recent sanctions.

In a post on X, Barak said he would take over the role of Foreign Minister Marco Rubio “in achieving the president’s vision”.

“President Trump has explained his clear vision of the booming Middle East and Syria stable in peace with itself and its neighbors,” Park wrote at The Post.
