Regis Le Bris: French head coach signs new long-term deal at Sunderland | Football News

The Sunderland coach, Derland coach, has signed a new long -term contract for the Premier League.

In a batch of Sindland before his upper return, the French committed his future at the Al -Nour Stadium until the summer of 2028.

He said: “The relationship I had with employees, players and supporters were normal, and we participated in many wonderful moments together.

“Collective ambition exists to see it and now, there is a desire to become stronger. I can feel energy and intention to push forward, and we need this in the following challenges that we will face.

“In every part of the organization, everyone has his own role, and we are all aligned.”

Le Bris was appointed as Black Cats in June 2024 after his departure from Lorient.

The 49-year-old had remained to run over his previous contract, but Sunderland moved to link him in the long run after he led the club to upgrade in his first campaign on his head, by beating 2-1 against Sheffield United in the final of the tournament match in May from the club’s return to the Premier League after the absence of eight years.

“Like every supporter in Sunderland, I am pleased to announce this contract to Rigis,” said Sinland Sports Director Christjan Spaceman.

“It provides clarity in the Premier League season, but most importantly is that he recognizes his contribution and his continued commitment to the club.

“Regis has an unimaginable desire to advance that is proportional to us and we look forward to continuing our partnership throughout the next season, and we are advancing with the alignment goals that reflect our common ambition.”

Sunderland ranked fourth in the recent period of the tournament before getting a dramatic victory in the semi -finals against Kovintry to close their place in Wembley, where the Tommy Watson winner returned black cats to the lead.

Le BRIS Sunderland has been leading his first Premier League campaign since he was dropped in 2016/2017, and they start against West Ham at the light stadium on August 16.

Since then, the club has been busy with the summer transfer window with eight new signatures reaching Wearside, including Arsenal midfielder and Bayer Leverkusen Granit Xhaka.

The new football coach Florent Ghisolfi believes that the new LE Bris deal is an important step in the club’s goal to establish himself in the Premier League.

“The new Regis contract is a sign of recognition of the distinguished work he has done since his arrival in Sunderland, and most importantly, it reflects our confidence in the future that we build together.”

“Our goal is to create a Cindeland Candappel in the Premier League – not only by name, but in identity, performance and ambition – and Rigis is an important part of that vision.

“Our desire is shared, and we are ready to meet the challenges and opportunities available with condemnation and purpose.”
