RFK Jr. stops in Texas to visit family of 6-year-old girl who died from measles

The Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services (HHS) has stopped Robert F. Kennedy Junior in Texas on Sunday and visited the family of a 6 -year -old girl who died because of the measles virus in February.
Kennedy confirmed a Texas visit in a post on the X in which people encouraged measles, mumps and terrace (MMR) as the measles vaccine.
“I came to Jeans County, Texas, today to rest the Hilderland family after the 8 -year -old Daisi lost,” Kennedy wrote at The Post. “I got to know the 6 -year -old Kylie Fahr family after her death in February. She also developed bonds with deep members of other members of this community during this difficult time.”
Kennedy said his intention is to visit Jeans quietly, and to unite families with society during their grief.

But he also said that there was to support Texas health officials and know how HHS agencies could be better partners to control the outbreak of measles.
As of Sunday, there were 642 confirmed cases of measles in 22 states, and 499 of those in Texas.
Kennedy has published a team of diseases and prevention control centers (CDC) in March to help enhance the local and state response to the outbreak with the provision of pharmacies and clinics that the country runs with MMR vaccines and other supplies.

Kennedy also had teamwork with local schools and healthcare facilities to support investigations and communicate with communities to answer health care questions.
“The most effective way to prevent measles is a mmr vaccine,” Kennedy wrote in the social media newspaper. “I spoke to the ruler Abbott, and provided continuous support to HHS. At his request, we have re -published CDC teams to Texas. We will continue to follow the progress of Texas and provide similar resources to other affected judicial authorities.”

The dark Texas has six infants and young children at a daytime care center in Lubuk who have experienced positively over the past two weeks, according to NBC News.
Two of these children among 56 people who were taken to the hospital with measles in the area since the disease began to spread in January.
About three to three of every 1,000 children with measles die from respiratory and nervous complications, according to the data of the Disease Control Center.

Almost one in every 20 children with measles suffer from pneumonia, which is the most common cause of measles death in young children.
The measles began in Texas in late January, but it has since spread to a few other states.
