Rhode Island Attorney General from viral arrest video placed on unpaid leave

The Prosecutor’s Assistant in Rod Island, whose arrest went earlier this week after she tried to use her site to evade detention, and tell the officers that they are “sorry” and put it behind bars, on an unpaid leave.

The assistant prosecutor Devon Flaangan, who was arrested on charges of infringement of others’ property, was placed on a paid vacation immediately after the accident, while the Prosecutor’s Office in Rod Island reviewed this issue. However, starting on Monday, Flalandan will go on an unpaid leave.

It is not clear how much time Flanagan will remain on an unpaid vacation until it is final for its work. The Prosecutor’s Office has not answered additional questions about his continuous review of the issue, or when he may make a final decision.

The records of government salary statements, according to The Boston Globe, show that Flanagan was outperforming about $ 113,000 a year in his position as a private public assistant.
