Former Russia president said that many countries are ready to provide Iran with nuclear warheads after the United States fired against three Iranian nuclear facilities.

“It will continue to enrich nuclear materials – and now we can say that they are frank, the future production of nuclear weapons – will continue,” said Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Vice -President of the Security Council in Russia, in a tenth Sunday employee.

“There are a number of countries ready to provide Iran directly with its own nuclear heads,” Medvedev said.

Medvedev has not listed specific countries that might form and support Iran. However, Russia historically supported the Iranian nuclear program. Russian President Vladimir Putin also offered to mediate peace talks between Iran and Israel on Wednesday.

Moscow also offered intervention and assistance in negotiating a nuclear deal between the United States and Iran.

Moscow participated in the 2015 Iran deal, known as the joint comprehensive work plan. The agreement raised the sanctions against Iran in exchange for the borders of the Iranian nuclear program, but Trump withdrew from the deal in 2018.

Medvedev’s comments came after the United States launched late on Saturday, which targeted the main Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordo, Natanz and Estehan. The task included more than 125 American aircraft, including B-2 STELTH bombers, according to the Chairman of the General Staff Team.

President Donald Trump said for several days that he was trading whether he would strike against those sites.

The White House and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital regarding MedveEV’s remarks.

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry claimed that the strikes violated international law and called for the “end of the aggression.”

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday: “The decision is not responsible for subjecting the lands of a sovereign state to missile and bombs, whatever the arguments that can be submitted, exhausting international law, and the United Nations Charter and the United Nations Security Council resolutions.”

Before the strikes, Iran warned that the United States would suffer if it chose to participate in the conflict, and previously issued retaliatory strikes against the rules in which the American forces were harvested after the United States killed the senior Iranian generals in 2020.

Defense Minister Beit Higseth told reporters on Sunday that the United States will work with allies in the region to help protect in the wake of strikes.

“We certainly understand the challenges of the allies in the region,” said Higseth. “We were respected and in work in cooperation with them because they are related to enjoyment and sensitivity there.”

“Ultimately, they have a lot of assets and people in those sites as well as American forces are employed. So, this is our matter.”
