Russia, Ukraine get stern warning from VP Vance: Make a deal or the US will ‘walk away’

Vice president JD Vance told reporters in India that the United States offered Russia and Ukraine a “very clear proposal” to end the war that lasted for more than three years: to take a deal or risk the United States.

“We have issued a very clear proposal for both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and it is time to say yes or the United States to stay away from this process,” Vans told reporters.

“The only way to stop killing is to put armies both of their weapons, to freeze this thing and continue to build Russia better and Ukraine is better,” the vice president also said.

Vans’s comments come after Foreign Minister Marco Rubio confirmed that he will not attend talks in London aimed at facilitating the ceasefire. On Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Tami Bruce told correspondents that Rubio would not attend the talks due to “logistical issues”.

Al -Amin later wrote in a publication on X that he was planning to “follow up after the ongoing discussions in London and reschedule my trip to the United Kingdom in the coming months.”

During a briefing on Tuesday, Bruce said that General Keith Keel, the Ukraine Special President, will represent the United States in talks in London.

Trump insists that the peace agreement in Ukraine Russia is close, but the lack of confidence in Putin leaves experts skeptical

On Friday, Rubio suggested that the United States may move away from negotiations to end the war within days, “despite President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to ensure the ceasefire deal. Trump later told the press that Rubio was” right to say that we want to see this ending. “

“Think about it, every day many people are killed and we are talking about, as you know, while playing games, so we will not take it,” Trump told reporters. He also said he believed the United States has a “good opportunity” to bring peace to Ukraine and Russia.

However, security experts are not confident that peace is on the horizon, as some warn that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want peace.

Trump seems to be hoping for Putin’s temptation and Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski to stop the fighting by talking about how the two countries can benefit from dealing with the United States after the war ended. He made a note after the temporary ceasefire of Ukraine and Russia ended. Both Ukraine and Russia accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
