“They wanted to send me and Manish Pandey to RCB”

Former India’s cricket player Robin Ethnaba has opened about his transfer from MOMAPA Indians to Royal Challeners Bengaluru (RCB) before IPL 2009. Uthappa played with Mi in the opening season in IPL in 2008, where 320 runs were scored in 14 average roles of 35.55.

The 39 -year -old recently appeared on PodCast First UMPIRE on YouTube, where he revealed that after the 2008 season, Mumbai wanted to bring Paceer Zaheer Khan and thus his trading with Manish Pandey to RCB. He said:

“They wanted to bring Zuhair Khan from Bangalore to Mumbai, and they wanted to send me and Manish Bandy to Bangalore. This was a deal, I think, between the owners. I don’t know. I do not know the inner interior.

UTHAPPA played two seasons for RCB (2009 and 2010), where he appeared in 31 games and scored 549 running at a rate of 23.87, with a strike rate of 141.49, including four centuries.

During the same conversation, Robin Ethaba said he was determined to win the IPL of the Indians of Mumbai and refused to move to RCB. He said:

“Loyalty is very big in the cricket game. So when I was playing with Mumbai, I felt as if I was in Mumbai, and I will not leave this and go anywhere. I wanted to win in Mumbai, and this was my mind. So when I was told that I would move, I refused that I do not want to transfer it, I don’t want to go.”

Robin Uthappa played 205 games in his IPL career, where he scored 4,952 extending at a rate of 27.51 and a 130.35 strike rate, including 27 tablets.

His best season came in 2014, when he won the orange cover that represents Kolkat Raiders (KKR). In the KKR campaign, he collected 660 in 16 floors at a rate of 44.00 and a 137.78 strike rate, with five centuries on his score.
