Salesforce to buy Informatica in $8B deal

Salesforce agreed to obtain an Informatica data management company in a deal valued at about $ 8 billion. This includes the value of the shares, the current investment in Salesforce in the company. Informatica shareholders will receive $ 25 in cash per share.

Informatica’s acquisition is in line with the Salesforce strategy

Salsforce executives described the acquisition as part of a long -term plan.
