Exclusive: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extracted more than 6000 student visas in 2025 for penetration and legal violations – including support for terrorism, according to Fox News Digital.
The Trump administration has launched multiple initiatives aimed at taking strict measures and canceling the visas of those who attend academic institutions in the United States
Those who publicly protested to support Palestine faced the increasing scrutiny, for example, and Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said in May that the administration was a decline in the visa of the students who participated in the pro -events protests.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Fox News Digital that approximately 6000 visas were withdrawn in the first place, which was caused by terrorism or meetings with the law, including attack, uterine and robbery, and terrorism support.
“Every student visa that was canceled under the Trump administration has occurred because the individual has broken the law or expressed his support for terrorism while they were in the United States,” said a senior Ministry of Foreign Affairs official in a statement to the digital newspaper Fox News. “About 4000 visas were canceled because these visitors broke the law during their visit to our country, including the records of attack and the smell.”

Those who were exposed to their students’ visas were extracted due to the attack – nearly 800 students – either faced the arrest or charges caused by the attack, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Those whose visas were withdrawn due to the support of terrorism – between 200 people to 300 people – participated in behavior such as collecting funds for the Hamas armed group, which was identified by the US State Department as a terrorist organization.
In all, the FOX News Digital Ministry told the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that nearly 40,000 visas have been withdrawn this year, compared to the 16,000 that was canceled during the same time frame under the Biden administration.
“Even if the previous administration is doing less, they are still abolishing visas,” said Foreign Ministry official. “It is not something just started on January 20 … so this happened for years.”
In May, Rubio told the legislators that “thousands” of student visas have been canceled since January.
“I don’t know the last number, but we may have more to do it,” Rubio Leaders of the Sub -Committee for Senate Credit, which oversees foreign affairs on May 20, said.
However, Democrats have retracted the Trump administration’s efforts to cancel visas, stressing that it is a violation of due legal procedures.
“I think it is a basic attack on freedom, because legal procedures are the guardian of the gate to prevent the government from removing people’s lives or freedom of people, and freedom is what happens when a visa takes off without legal procedures,” senator Jeff Jeff Merkeley told Rubio on May 20.

A student visa allows those outside the United States to study in the country for a specific period of time in an academic institution. It is different from a green card, which allows the individual already in the United States, which is not an American citizen to stay in the country.
The student visa campaign is in line with many executive orders signed by President Donald Trump in January, which aims to protect the United States from foreign terrorists and other national security threats, as well as combating anti -Semitism.
