Signs of China ‘caving’ to Trump emerge amid tariff exemptions

Early signs highlight that China is now “moving” to the United States and President Donald Trump on the definitions, according to an foreign policy expert.

Gordon Zhang, the Gatestone Fellow, agreed to a “victory for Trump” after the president revealed that he spoke to China about commercial tensions and the recent exemption of some American goods from its 125 % tariff.

Zhang said in “Varney & Co.”: Friday.

“Basically, they are moving, but they do not want to say they are moving.”

Trump says mutual definitions can be re -imposed within weeks

From the White House park on Friday morning, President Trump took questions from the press when the last time he spoke to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“I don’t want to comment on that, but I spoke to him several times,” Trump answered before he burned a question about what exactly I discussed: “I will teach you in time. Let’s see whether we can make a deal.”

Although China has publicly announced that it had not negotiated with the United States on trade, a later report issued by Reuters, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce team claimed lists of elements that can be exempted from customs tariffs and asking companies to submit their own requests.

Washington said that the current current situation cannot be defended economically and has already provided introductory exemptions for some electronic goods. But Beijing took a more difficult position, saying he was ready to fight to the end unless the United States raises a tariff.

“It can last for a very long time.”.

“Chef Jinping has aligned himself in the corner,” he said. “And I think that if he reached a deal with the United States, he must explain this to the Chinese people. This would be very difficult for him.”

“You cannot say,” Well, I am now dealing with the United States, “because that will undermine everything he said to his people for years.”

Weighs whether China is “truly vulnerable”, Zhang referred to consumer price indicators and negative product in the country, reducing the total local receipts and tax receipts in the first quarter.

“When you had India two days ago, steeling to steel by 12 %, and this was directed to China because they did not want to drown their Chinese steel market that would have gone to the United States, where you will see other countries to do the same, which really means that China will face export problems because this is the place where they were looking for growth,” the expert was analyzed.

“But they cannot cultivate it in a world as we have today. Besides, when she adds Deglobalization, this is a really bad story for Beijing.”
