FedEx debuts air freight service connecting Dublin and Indianapolis

FEDEX has started a new trip linking Dublin and Indianapolis, the second largest air center in the company, to accelerate health care transportation and other high -value charging products for trucks in the United States and Ireland.
FDX said in a press statement on Tuesday that the new direct air freight lane will work four days a week and allow goods from Dublin to overcome the crowded coast gates and reach its destination that is faster. Ireland is the best pharmaceutical and biological center. Many pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies are also based in Indiana.
Customer official Berri Carrir first revealed the new trip on September 18 during the company’s first quarter profits, but he did not provide any details.
“This flight highlights the success of the strategy of redesigning the International Tricolor network in enhancing our capabilities in the global air freight market,” said Richard Smith, CEO and CEO of Airlines. “By adding this path, customers in the United States can reduce delivery times to one of the main innovation centers in Europe, where industries such as health care, electronics and space are witnessing great growth. Our network, which is enhanced by advanced digital tools, is designed to support customers in these expanding sectors.”
Over the past two years, FEDEX has turned its air network to eliminate the excessive capacity amid slowing in parcel sizes, improving profitability and customer service. A major part of the coded strategy includes the fleet separation by product categories and demand requirements. The purple network is dedicated overnight, Express, and the Orange network is for distinct public shipments presented by the shipping agent and the white network dedicated to low priority charges that have been booked on commercial passenger planes by the FedEX recharge arm.
Ireland is a strong export market, where about 68 % of the total commodities that were exported in early 2025 were exported to the United States. Medicines and medical equipment are leading export products.
FEDEX recently opened a 16,000 square feet in the Indianapolis Center. The elbow is characterized by three temperature areas: minus 25 ° C to 10 ° C (minus 13 ° F), 2 ° C to 8 ° C (35 ° F to 46 ° F), 15 ° C to 25 ° C (59 Fahrenheit to 77 Fahrenheit), in addition to a re -room.
