Jenelle Evans shares that she underwent postpartum plastic surgery

On December 18, Evans took to Instagram to share a set of photos with her 3.1 million followers. Moreover, she wrote “I kept a little secret…”

“After 3 pregnancies, working out, and eating clean, my body still needs some extra help especially with the diastasis recti (mummy’s pouch) that many of us deal with after having kids. No amount of exercise can fix this problem. I decided to do a post-motherhood makeover… earlier this month. We replaced my old implants with 400cc silicone implants from @breastimplantsbymentor and repaired my abs with a tummy tuck.”

Additionally, Evans explained that she has “judged her body ever since [she] “He was a teenager.”

“So, choosing this was about feeling like myself again and not explaining it to anyone else. I’m still recovering but I’m already feeling confident, happy and really excited about this new chapter! Tomorrow I’ll be celebrating my 34th birthday and I can honestly say I’m proud to welcome in a new year that I love in my skin,” she concluded.

She talks openly about mom plastic surgery

On Tuesday, December 30, PEOPLE published an interview with Evans where she talked more about her recent surgery. According to the outlet, Evans underwent surgery in early December. Furthermore, she noted that “the timing was right” for the procedure because she knew she had children and “wanted to focus on herself and feel confident in her appearance.”

Explaining why she underwent a breast piercing, Evans added: “I had to have my breasts reconstructed because it had saline in it, and saline is only good for 10 years.”

According to the outlet, Evans also wanted rock-hard abs and was told she needed a tummy tuck to achieve her desired look.

Since her surgery, Evans’ recovery is said to be going well. Additionally, she shared why she decided to reveal the update to her followers.

“Since I started social media, I’ve just been showing my true, raw, real self, true personality and everything in my life, all organic content. So I think it’s very important to keep the content organic for my followers and be as loyal as I can be, like I’ve been, and also show the girls that you’re not alone. You’re not the only one dealing with this,” she explained.
