American Airlines flight evacuated over landing gear issue at Denver airport

The passengers were evacuated on Saturday from a US lines plane about to take off from Denver International Airport due to a problem with the landing equipment.

The problem was reported on the American Airlines Flight 3023 trip from Denver to Miami was still on the runway. The Denver Fire Department said it had extinguished a fire after responding to the plane.

All 173 travelers and six crew members were removed on board the Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane safely from the plane.

Five people were evaluated, but they were not transferred for further treatment, while one person was evaluated at the gate for a minor injury.

This incident is the second that includes a major airline since Friday, when South West Ang transferred 1496 from Borbank, California, to Las Vegas, which led to the avoidance of the air collision shortly after take off, causing travelers out of their seats and to the ceiling.

US Airlines confirmed that the plane in Denver faced a maintenance problem with a frame and that the plane had been removed from the service to be searched by the maintenance team.

“The American Airlines Flight 3023 mechanical cases have lived on Denver International Airport.” “All customers and crew have been safely exhausted, and the plane was taken out of service to search it by our maintenance team. We thank our team members for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for their experience.”

The displaced passengers will leave for Miami on an alternative plane later on Saturday, according to the airline.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the accident.

“US Airways reported 3023 of a possible incident to land during the departure from Denver International Airport at approximately 2:45 pm local time on Saturday 26 July,” the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. “The passengers were evacuated on the runway and they are transferred to the bus station.”

According to Flightaware, about 90 flights were delayed at 2 pm

The airport issued a ground stop from 2 pm until about 3 pm for all incoming flights that did not leave departure airports. Airport operations have been resumed since then.
