In response to a question about Sharbaton’s comments, a spokesman for the Cuomo Fox News Digital campaign in an email message told an email that “everyone is entitled to obtain their political opinion.”

“We understand that President Trump supports Eric Adams, and we do not believe that socialism is the solution,” said a spokesman. “Most of the New York residents are not Trump, and most of the population of New York are not socialists – the majority lies in the center. Also, on Wednesday, President Donald Trump pledged to “save New York City” from the candidate Mayor Zahran Mamdani. Mamdani faced criticism from the conservatives and even some Democrats over his socialist policies and refused to condemn the terrorist -related discourse.

The Electoral Council in New York City published the official results of three rounds of voting to vote from the ranking from the mayor last week, and Mamdani won the majority in the third round, with 56 % of the votes.
